He taught at the University of Warsaw and later served as a researcher at the Fryderyk Chopin Institute, where he published, among other <em>works, *Chopin Gourmet*<\/em>, a trilingual book on Chopin\u2019s culinary tastes (2015). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, he pursued a career as a wine taster and critic. He is the founder and editor of the magazine *Magazyn Wino* (2002), the *Hachette Guide to European Wines* (2003, 2005, 2008), the online magazine Winicjatywa (2012), and the quarterly Ferment (2017). He contributes to publications such as Meininger\u2019s Wine Business International and Timatkin.com. He serves as a panel chair for the Decanter World Wine Awards and is a jury member for 50 Great Greek Wines.
