Born in Lebanon, Gaston studied at Coll\u00e8ge Notre Dame de Jamhour before moving to France in 1983 to pursue his university studies, first in Paris, then in Lille, following the Lebanese crisis, at the Institut Industriel du Nord (IDN) – Ecole Centrale Lille.\nHe obtained his engineering degree in 1989, adding a DEA in Management with a major in Finance from the University of Lille III the same year. <\/p>\n\n
Gaston then joined Banque Paribas in the IT department.\nHe stayed there for almost five years, before joining the family company Ch\u00e2teau Musar in 1994, returning to Lebanon for good. <\/p>\n\n
Gaston is the first member of the third generation to join the family business, and learns the wine business by working in the winery, before taking on responsibilities and then management.\nHe went on to manage wine distribution in Lebanon in the 2000s.\nOn the accidental death of his father in 2014, he took over the management of the company under the presidency of his uncle Ronald, while continuing to produce wines following the path and philosophy laid down by his father Serge. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","member_country":[91],"member_affiliation":[89],"class_list":["post-1850","member","type-member","status-publish","hentry","member_country-lebanon","member_affiliation-production-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
