Anthony Lacey
Anthony studied philosophy, politics and economics at Oxford University. Then, for two years, he took groups of Americans across Europe, Africa and around the world. During the winters, he visited travel agencies throughout the Midwest.
He then worked for three years as an investment banker in the City of London, but decided his heart wasn't in it. He teamed up with a university friend, with whom he had been a member of the Wine Circle, and together they ran a business importing wines mainly from France for a few years.
He and his wife then took over the business of a wine agent specializing in Rhône and Midi wines, which they called Mistral Wines and developed until 2009, when they sold it to Berry Bros. & Rudd.
Anthony now runs a charity and lives between London and the Markets in Italy.
