Corinne Clavien is a leading figure in the Swiss wine world. A graduate of the Changins School of Engineering in oenology and viticulture, she has devoted her career to promoting and assessing Valais wines.
In 1991, she joined the Office de la viticulture du canton du Valais as an oenologist. Thanks to her commitment and expertise, she was appointed Valais Cantonal Oenologist in 2008, a key position in the preservation and development of the region's winegrowing heritage.
Recognized for her expertise, she is a member of numerous national and international tasting commissions, including the Grand Prix des Vins Suisses, Vinéa, Vinalies Internationales and Mondial du Rosé. She also participates in cantonal tasting commissions, contributing to the promotion of Valais wines.
Her commitment and contribution to the wine industry earned her the French Mérite agricole award, in recognition of her influence and work on behalf of the wine industry.
