Jorge Lucki is a leading figure in the Brazilian wine world, recognized for his in-depth expertise and significant contribution to the country's oenological culture.
His passion for wine led him to deepen his knowledge through reading and travels in France between 1975 and 1976. In 1979, he attended courses at the Académie du Vin in Paris, then in Burgundy and at the Institut d'Œnologie de Bordeaux in 1980. These experiences solidified his understanding of French wines and terroirs.
Jorge Lucki is a founding member of the Brazilian Sommelier Association and the Brazilian Society of Wine Friends, where he has held various board positions. Between 2008 and 2010, he co-wrote the "Descorchados Wine Guide" for Argentina and Chile, published in Spanish and Portuguese. He is also the author of the book "A Experiência do Gosto" and co-author of "Conheça Vinhos", published in December 2014. Since 2000, he has been a wine columnist for the newspaper "Valor Econômico" and a regular contributor to the magazines "ValorInveste" and "Prazeres da Mesa".
His expertise is recognized beyond Brazil's borders. He is a member of the Académie Internationale du Vin and was a judge at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025, reflecting his status as a globally respected expert.
Jorge Lucki also shares his experiences and knowledge on social networks, notably on Instagram, where he regularly posts content related to the world of wine.
