Pascal Delbeck
Born in Libourne in 1954, Pascal Delbeck is the descendant of a family that has been working in the vineyards for 5 generations. After studying viticulture, oenology and agronomy, he joined Madame Dubois-Challon, owner of Château Ausone - 1er Grand Cru Classé A Saint-Emilion (co-owner until 1997), Château Belair- 1er Grand Cru Classé B Saint-Emilion, Château Tour du Pas Saint-Georges - Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion, ChâteauFleur Amandine - Bordeaux Blanc.
Starting out as a trainee, he went on to become manager and then owner, succeeding Madame Dubois-Challon in 2003.
He quickly developed patents related to vineyard and wine-making (sorting belt in 1979, crate harvesting in 1989, gravity-fed racking in 1992, etc.).
Pascal Delbeck has advised numerous estates abroad, in Turkey, the United States, Argentina and Spain, where he created a production and marketing concept on the Duero.
A tireless defender of the gastronomic tradition of French wines and the truth of terroir, Pascal Delbeck is an Officer of the Order of Agricultural Merit, and a member of numerous wine brotherhoods, including one of the few Bordeaux Chevaliers du Tastevins in Burgundy.
