Pietro Ratti

Born in 1968 and the second child of Renato Ratti, he is the current owner and winemaker of the Ratti family winery in the Barolo region, at La Morra.

Graduating in oenology and viticulture from the Alba Wine School in 1988, he has been involved with the winery since that year due to the untimely death of his father Renato.

In 2002, he completely renovated the facility, building a modern winery, the first to be "green", "sustainable" and perfectly integrated into the La Morra landscape.

Over the years, he has expanded his vineyard of Barolo and other grape varieties, with new projects of Nebbiolo grown at higher altitudes than traditional.

In addition to the winery, Pietro was also president of the "Consorzio di Tutela Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba, Langhee Dogliani" and is currently renovating the Renato Ratti Museum of Alba Wines.
