Theodore Georgopoulos
Theodore Georgopoulos is an eminent jurist specializing in wine law and European law. He holds several leading academic and professional positions in the field of wine law.
He is Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Reims, where he directs the Wine & Law Program. He also holds the Jean Monnet Chair in European Wine Law.
At the same time, he teaches wine law at the Burgundy School of Business.
In 2020, he was elected President of the International Association of Vine and Wine Lawyers (AIDV), reflecting his commitment and influence in the field of wine law.
Théodore Georgopoulos is the author of several books and articles on wine law. His book "Les marques vitivinicoles et appellations d'origine" is a reference in the field.
