Thanks to Robert Cey-Bert’s exemplary organization, participants explored Hungary’s main wine regions: Balaton, Villány, Eger and Tokaj.

Local grape varieties such as Olaszrizling and Furmint for whites, and Kékfrankos for reds, were particularly highlighted.

The most memorable moments of the trip were visits to Tokaj’s iconic wineries, such as Royal Tokaji, István Szepsy, Disznókő and Oremus, accompanied by unforgettable tastings of great sweet and dry wines.

Tokaj, considered one of the world’s most prestigious historic vineyards, offered a unique experience.

The trip ended with a visit to Hortobágy National Park, with its vast plains and majestic herds of wild horses.
