The trip to Switzerland was centered around the Fête des Vignerons, an exceptional event that only takes place every 20 to 25 years in Vevey, near Lausanne.
The show, retracing the cycles of the vine and their impact on human life, was unforgettably beautiful.
During the trip, members also visited vineyards in Valais and Lavaux. In Valais, a tasting at Domaine du Grand Brûlé in Leytron and at Marie-Thérèse Chappaz’s in Fully delighted the participants.
In Lavaux, a tasting at Clos des Abbayes in Dézaley was another highlight.
The trip was enriched by visits to the Charlie Chaplin Museum in Vevey and the Swiss Jura, including discoveries of violin making, watchmaking and cheese making.
